moksha is one of the popular rock bands in india which was formed in the year 1995. it is said that the idea of forming this band emerged in the coffee shop. This band is quite popular internationally!!!
Moksha was the only Asian band to be featured on an Iron Maiden tribute album, which was released by a UK based recording company called Energie Records.This was followed by a Tribute album to the Metal Gods 'Metallica'.These two probably gave the break through they were looking for.
The band includes Leon on vocals, Christy and Allen on guitars, Bobby on bass and Ranjith on Drums. This is basically a band from chennai.
I recently heard their songs in their website ,i found it good but i found the punch we get from the western rock band is missing in them! after all it is only my view. But again it is to early to judge!! lets watch out for these guys!!
